Frankel outlined some of her wellness secrets in this Instagram post. She revealed that she doesn't have a set workout routine. Instead, she chooses exercises based on her surroundings. "My philosophy on eating & exercise is to do what you can when you can," she wrote. "I choose time with my daughter & sleep first. If I'm near a beach, I take an hour walk. If I have the time, I'll do a yoga dvd."

When it comes to working out, Frankel says that she doesn't believe in doing intense sessions at the gym. She says in her Instagram post that these types of workouts aren't helpful, don't encourage her to stick with it, and can create unhealthy eating habits. "I don't believe in fear based, torturous, aggressive exercise. Life is too short and stressful to dread doing something for an hour. In addition, extreme exercise creates extreme hunger."

Frankel has a culinary background, and has a lot of knowledge about nutrition. She says that this has led to having a good relationship with food, and allows her to not overthink it. "I love food and eat whatever I want but I NEVER binge," she wrote on her Instagram post. "I don't beat myself up about what I've eaten or praise myself about what I haven't. Food isn't your best friend or your enemy. It's just food. I have a good relationship with it."

Frankel says that she doesn't like to jump on the newest fad diet or eating craze. She says that she focuses on eating well, and eating what she wants. "I'm old enough to know that fat-free was a craze, low-carb, eat your weight in meat and cheese was a phase, keto is a fad, the Zone was a moment, and so on," she says to Good Housekeeping. "So yes, I eat carbs. I eat everything, but I don't binge."

Frankel tells Good Housekeeping that her diet is all about variety. "What I eat has no consistency," she says. "Today, it was an egg white vegetable omelet with a baked potato and a few french fries for lunch. Sometimes, it's arugula with tomato, avocado, and Parmesan. Pureed soups are a mainstay for me." Eggs are a good call. "Looking at the nutritional breakdown, one egg contains roughly 75 calories, 5 grams of fat, 6 grams of protein, 0 carbohydrates, 67 milligrams of potassium, 70 grams of sodium and 210 milligrams of cholesterol. Eggs are also a great source of vitamins A, D and B12, as well as choline, which is a nutrient that's essential in many steps of metabolism. Except for its cholesterol content, one egg is a healthy option for breakfast lunch or dinner," says the Mayo Clinic.
