Brad Pitts Victory In His Custody Battle With Angelina Jolie Reportedly Costing Him $100 Million

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s divorce has been a long, difficult process that is still months away from coming to an end. And, according to a new report, when it is all said and done, the nasty split is going to end up costing Pitt nearly $100 million.

An insider recently told Radar Online that the Fight Club star will be paying for just about everything when it comes to the six Jolie-Pitt kids – Maddox, Pax, Zahara, Shiloh, Vivienne, and Knox.

“Besides child support, Brad’s on the hook for living expenses and education, security and other bills that will last until these kids are 21,” says the source.

It took Pitt and Jolie over two years to work out a custody deal. Jolie was fighting for full custody of the kids, and Pitt wanted them to have 50/50 joint custody. They finally met somewhere in the middle, but the former couple kept the details of the agreement private.

But, now that the actor has his kids back, the focus is on splitting up Jolie and Pitt’s money and assets, and this is going to end up costing Pitt millions.

“He’s got his kids back, but he’s looking at a very different reality that will hit him in the pocket until he’s an old man,” explained the insider. “This was a big reason why the settlement took so long… Brad tried to fight it and stick up for himself, but he couldn’t do anything to prevent Angie from taking pretty much half of everything he has.”

In addition to his divorce drama, Pitt is also dealing with a class-action lawsuit that Hurricane Katrina victims filed against him and his Make It Right Foundation.

Recently, Pitt asked the judge in the case to release him from the suit. In legal documents, he claimed that there was zero truth to the allegations that he made promises to, entered into a contract with, or misrepresented any class member.

The plaintiffs in the case are arguing that Pitt and his foundation promised to build them homes that could withstand “hurricane force winds,” but instead they received houses that won’t make it another five years.

The homeowners are tied to 30-year mortgages even though the homes won’t last that long, and the New Orleans residents believe that Pitt only helped hurricane victims for good publicity. The plaintiffs also accuse Pitt’s foundation of knowing about issues with building materials used to build the homes, but they didn’t inform the buyers.

They claim that the homes are not up to code, and they have multiple issues, including mold, rotten wood, air quality, and plumbing.

Insiders say that Brad Pitt has spent millions of his own money to fix the problems, and now he is asking that the judge remove him personally from the case, but not his foundation.
