Drake Bell Defends Himself After His Ex Claims He Abused Her! Calls Her Accusations Offensive

Drake Bell’s former girlfriend shared a video on TikTok in which she was accusing her ex of abuse and now, he is defending himself! As you can imagine, Drake Bell denies all the claims against him, calling Melissa Lingafelt’s accusations of ‘physical’ abuse ‘offensive and defamatory!’

The official statement from Drake Bell was released via Variety originally and reads: ‘I never abused my ex girlfriend or did many of the other things she falsely claimed in her TikTok video.’

As mentioned before, the former Nickelodeon star’s statement was in response to the singer’s TikTok clip in which she revealed what she had allegedly experienced while dating Drake.

In his statement, Drake Bell also claimed Melissa had reached out to him last year to ask for a favor.

And according to the man, he actually did help her too!

‘As our relationship ended — more than one decade ago — we, unfortunately, called each other terrible names, as it often happens when couples break up. But that is it. Obviously. Melissa still felt close enough to me only last year that she was comfortable to reach out to ask me to provide her with some financial support during a tough time (which I did).’

Bell then expressed confusion over her intentions, telling his audience: ‘I don’t know if today’s behavior is some sort of misguided quest for more money or for attention. But I can’t and will not allow such offensive and defamatory allegations to go unchallenged and I’m reviewing my legal options.’

Drake and Melissa were romantically involved back in 2006 and it latest for around two years.

In the meantime, the singer also took to her IG account to claim that she even has photo evidence proving her claims against her ex.
