Tonight Fear The Walking Dead episode begins with a baby crying. Morgan gets up to soothe the baby, he takes him in his arms and reassures him that everything is ok, but the sad reality is, the baby is hungry. Morgan and Grace, along with the baby, are held up still in the submarine.

Food shortages force them to venture outside the submarine, but then there is the threat of the nuclear fallout. Grace is suited up and she is trying to find baby formula. All of a sudden she hears someone approaching and tries to hide. She is safe, the two people end up leaving. Grace ventures back outside and completely loses it, screams outside that she doesn’t want to be there.

Grace is back with Morgan, he is trying to feed the baby but she is not ready for solids. Morgan offers to go out, he says it is his turn and maybe he will have better luck than her. Grace picks up the baby who keeps on crying, nothing Grace does calms the baby down. Grace tells the baby she knows its not fair, neither one of them asked to be there and she can’t sing to her even though Morgan asked her to. Grace goes and finds a cassette player and plays some songs, it calms the baby.

Morgan is back, he didn’t find any formula but he did rig a car and he tells Morgan it is their way out of there. He says the air inside the car is just as clean as inside the sub. He got fuel from the sub, he thinks they have enough for six hours travel. Morgan says he is doing this for her and Mo, who will keep sleeping with the vibration of the car and music playing on the cassette deck They start driving and leave the sub.

All of a sudden, music comes on the cassette tape that Grace left for her daughter, she freaks out and causes them to crash. There goes Morgan’s plan for a six hour drive to safety. Morgan goes outside, the wheel is bent, they can’t drive on it. Grace then removes her mask and fully exposes herself to radiation, she tells Morgan to leave with Mo, they will have enough rations to make it. He tells her she will die and she says she is ok with that.

All of a sudden, people come out with masks on and they have guns. Morgan tells them that if they want the car they can take it, they just want to get Mo. The people tell Morgan it is not their child, it is Emma, and she is theirs. They are near a garage, they take the car inside and the people tell Morgan to change the tire. Grace says she is not giving up now, not until she sees Morgan and Mo safe.

The two people are Bee and Fred, Grace tells them that they can get out of their to a safe place. Bee mentions Padre, a safe place, and her husband tells her to be quiet. There is a struggle, Morgan gets Fred’s rifle, but Fred and Bee take off in the car. Morgan manages to stop the vehicle by shooting Fred. Bee jumps him and he wrestled her to the ground.

Back in the garage, Bee and Fred, who have burns on their faces, are held up with Morgan, Grace and Mo. He tells her that Mo is not her child. Fred shows Morgan a map of a place that is safe, Padre. Mo starts crying again, they have to get out of their because the baby is attracting walkers that are outside. All of a sudden, they see a vehicle about thirty or so feet away with the lights on.

Fred, Grace and Mo take cover in the garage. Morgan has the rifle and he is ready to fight if he has to, Bee is in the car with him. A man gets out of the other car and Morgan shoots him, Bee says they have to get back to Emma while Morgan hears something. He looks in the back of the car and sees Bee and Fred’s suitcase moving.

They were carrying a zombie baby in the suitcase, Morgan shoots her and tells Bee that their daughter was already dead. Morgan fears for Grace and Mo, and just as Fred is about to put his hands over Mo’s face, Grace shoots him dead. Grace and Morgan leave with Mo, Bee stays behind to die, what time she has left she wants to be near her husband and child.

In the end, Morgan and Grace return to the sub. To their surprise they are held at gunpoint by Stand’s military group. They know Morgan and tell him he didn’t make the cut to live where they life, a safe place, but Grace and Mo are welcome to join them, they can use someone with her expertise. Morgan tries to negotiate for them to take the baby, he says he will do whatever is best for her. Grace says no, they are all staying. Strand’s men leave.

Strand’s men raided the pantry, there is not much left. Mo is crawling on the floor and it takes Grace’s attention, she notices a spot on the floor that is lifted a bit with a mat, under it is tons of canned food, including powered milk.

Morgan not only has Strand to worry about, but there is a man searching for him that wants vengeance for his brother, whose head he keeps in a box with Morgan’s name on it.
