Youre a b**** Footage resurfaces of Conor McGregors and Tyron Woodley's run-in ahead

Conor McGregor will soon be let loose on the UFC roster once again and Tyron Woodley will just be thankful he’s no longer in the Irishman’s firing line.

Ahead of McGregor’s highly anticipated comeback fight with Michael Chandler, he’ll coach alongside his opponent on the latest season of ‘The Ultimate Fighter.’

‘Notorious’ first appeared on the MMA-based reality show in 2015 and was paired with Urijah Faber whom he surprisingly ended up becoming friends with during the filming process.

However, this is a rarity during McGregor’s career which has included massive rivalries with Jose Aldo, Khabib Nurmagomedov, Nate Diaz and Dustin Poirier.

The 34-year-old even managed to find an issue with Woodley during his reign as UFC welterweight champion, years before he even considered fighting at 170lbs.

Trouble between the two started in the build-up to UFC 205 in November 2016.

McGregor faced Eddie Alvarez for the UFC lightweight title in the headline bout and Woodley defended his welterweight belt against Stephen ‘Wonderboy’ Thompson in the co-main event.

Naturally, they spent a lot of time around each other to promote the UFC’s first show in New York and things turned sour between them when Woodley got his phone out to film ‘Mystic Mac’ during one of his famous press conference outbursts.

A day later, Woodley walked by McGregor after weighing in and politely asked ‘What’s up?' However, he was met with a cold stare from the UFC superstar who didn’t say much but made it obvious there was a problem.

They then got into a spat on social media when McGregor called the 170lb champion a ‘Twitter b****’ after Woodley said: "Some of us are really about that life! The quiet ones are the ones really from the slums. Don't make me go back."

A few hours later, they bumped into each other backstage ahead of the UFC 205 ceremonial weigh-ins and McGregor called Woodley a ‘b****’ to his face.

“Get your little camera phone. You’re like a woman. You’re like a woman with that phone. You’re a b****. F****** b****,” he said as security stopped him from physically confronting his new rival.

‘The Chosen One’ refused to engage with McGregor and quickly left the area to stop a fight breaking out backstage the night before his first title defence.

Just 24 hours later, McGregor famously stopped Alvarez inside two rounds to become the first dual-weight champion in UFC history after Woodley had retained his title by drawing with Thompson.

He ended up dropping his UFC belts to crossover to boxing and take on Floyd Mayweather in one of the best-selling pay-per-view events of all time.

Since then, McGregor has struggled for form and has lost three of his last four fights but he is still the biggest star in the sport and fans are eagerly awaiting his MMA return.

‘T-Wood’ defended his 170lb strap three more times before dropping to a decision defeat against Kamaru Usman and going on a long run of losses that he’s yet to break.

Woodley was cut by the UFC following four successive defeats before transitioning to boxing and suffering two shocking losses against YouTuber Jake Paul who knocked him out cold in their second fight.

A clash with McGregor is no longer a possibility, but Woodley, who has recently been angling for a fight with KSI, will try to snap his poor run at some point in 2023.
